Rochdale Red Day Festival Cooks Up Free Food and Family Fun

Red Day Festival is a circus-themed day of free food and family fun that will be held in Rochdale Town Hall on 21 Feb from 10am-4pm with the aim of giving the Greater Manchester community access to information, activities and food options that will help them reduce their risk of heart disease. The event features cuisine and cooking demonstrations from celebrity chef Aazam Ahmad as well as face painting, a bouncy castle, circus skills training class, karate, Zumba, CPR demonstrations from the NW Ambulance Service, prizes, etc.

Rochdale’s three BHF Hearty Lives cardiovascular specialist nurses will be on hand at the Red Day Festival to answer questions about heart health and give advice. All ages are welcome, however under 16s should be accompanied by an adult at all times. For information about the Red Day Festival, please contact Sarah McStay at 01706 261896.
