Littleborough Arts Festival 2014

Littleborough Arts Festival takes place between the 23rd and 31st August 2014 at The Coach House, Lodge Street, Littleborough.

Now in its 13th year this successful and popular event attracts artists and visitors from all over the UK.

Open to artists of all levels, this event aims to promote art within the local community.

Our annual photographic competition this year is an open competition with no theme.

This years fetsival includes five special events;

5th July a pre festival concert at Littleborough Sports Club, “Pop, Rock and all that Jazz” featuring Lauren Waterworth, The Watch and Little Jazz Funk Orchestra.

12th July a concert evening at Holy Trinity Church, Littleborough, “ShowStoppers” in association with Holy Trinity Youth Theatre Workshop.

25th August a theatre evening at Littleborough Trades Club, New Live Theatre present “A Parson’s Tale”

27th August at The Red Lion PH, Littleborough, an “Open Mic” evening with poet Robin Parker

28th August at St Barnabas Church, Shore our annual concert “Cooking on Gas” featuring Val Bracken as a soloist and the Rock Choir

A Parson’s Tale

Littleborough Arts Festival in partnership with New LIve Theatre Company present “A Parson’s Tale” at Littleborough Trades Club on Monday 25th August 2014.

Doors open from 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

Tickets £8 /£6  available online at www.newlivetheatre.co.uk or from The Trades Club.

A Parson’s Tale is an enthralling one-man play, written by Christopher Owen, which toured the UK and Gulf between 1995 & 2004 at over 100 venues. This entertaining comedy, set in 1895 England, returns to the UK, now starring Bob Young (The Rochdale Pioneers) as Reverend J T Smith, along with live musical entertainment from the Northern Singer/Actor himself!

Littleborough Arts Festival presents “ShowStoppers”

Littleborough Arts Festival in association with Holy Trinity Youth Theatre Workshop present “ShowStoppers” at Holy Trinity Church on Saturday 12th July 2014.

Tickets £5 and available from Framework, 30A Hare Hill Road, Littleborough.

Doors open at 6.30pm and show starts at 7.00pm

The concert includes a selection of the songs from previous shows, Oliver, and Joseph and his Technicolour Dream Coat, and songs from other musicals.
